Fringe: The Same Old Story
September 17th 2008 03:47
Compared to last week's explosive premier I though the follow up was a little slow. However I do think that this episode does a better job of showing the audience what the show is really going to be like.
So far the show is set up as a case by case format with a full resolution of the case at the end of the episode. Of course they can't just have that so they have a few multi-episode arcs that are starting to take shape. Including one that is introduced at the end of this episode involving Peter's medical history.
Speaking of Peter, I think Joshua Jackson and John Noble work really well together. I thought the scene with them at the end was very touching.
I am really digging this show and I don't understand why it is getting such low ratings both on air ratings and the rating on TV.com. Am I missing something? As far as I can tell this is a really good show so far.
