Smallville: Committed

When they said this season would be all about Lois and Clark and their relationship, they meant it. This episode takes another giant leap forward, moving toward the future relationship of Lois and Clark. I have to say that I hope people realize just how awesome that scene was, when Lois, strapped to a lie detector, was asked if she loves Clark. That whole scene was superb. Especially at the end after Clark escapes and steps through the steam and says: "Lois, are you alright?" Huge Superman moment right there.
I also liked the nice reference in the elevator to Superman: The Movie and Superman Returns, even if it was kinda out of place, they just wanted to use the line. Also another reference to Superman: The Movie was in the Jewelry store. Did anyone catch it or am I just a super Superman geek. And by the way Lois was totally lying at the end when she said she slipped the sensor off her finger, but the look of disappointment on Clark's face was perfect.
As for the rest of the episode. I thought it was pretty good. It was on par with what we've come to expect from the series. I think they are making good use of Oliver Queen so far. They're doing a good job of keeping him tied to the show, by tying his story with Tess Mercer's. I honestly thought he would have a bigger role this season, seeing as how they made him a series regular and all.
