Finally a resolution to a cliffhanger that actually has consequences on the rest of the season. With most shows the cliffhanger is resolved and everything goes back to normal. Last episode Dean's soul was dragged down to hell because of his deal to bring back Sam. In this episode Dean is dragged back out of hell but there is much more to it than: "Yay! I'm back lets hunt some more demons". The episode is spent trying to find out who has the power to pull someone out of hell. The answer is not who you would expect, but still freakin' sweet. Let's just say the "entity" that is responsible for Dean's rescue will cause him to question everything he has believed. At least it should.
There are a couple other really cool twists as well such as what Sam has been doing with his time since Dean has been gone. We also get a new Ruby. It's too bad they can't bring back Katie Cassidy because the new Ruby has no where near the attitude she portrayed.
I think this episode is going to go down as one of the series' best. I mean it was just so cool, and just opens everything up for an action packed season.
