Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Brothers of Nablus

November 5th 2008 00:38

Well this was the first episode of the season that has been a little disappointing for me. It was a pretty poor script, in my opinion. The dialogue was still up to par, but it was a poorly crafted script.

A lot of the situations that happened were pretty weak, I thought. Like how Cromartie and John ended up at the same grocery store. I mean, yeah, it could happen, but talk about slim chances. There were several close calls between John and Cromartie, but it was not as intense or suspenseful as it should have been.

I'm also not really digging the new story line with Derek and this Jesse chick. I get that she is lying to Derek about why she came to the past, but she just isn't that interesting of a character. Not right now anyway.

When Riley(Leven Rambin) was first introduced as a character I predicted that she would be an important addition to the story. Well, I think I was probably wrong. There could still be a big twist and stuff, but right now looks like she is just supposed to be some girl that John can hang out with so he can have some normalcy in his life.
